fluid future was founded in early 2008 by William Daser, known to all as ‘Bim’ Daser.

Bim graduated from Edinburgh University in 1987 with an Honours degree in Microelectronics, and followed this with a Diploma in Yacht & Boat Design from Southampton Solent University in 1990.

Bim’s career started out in the yacht design office of Camper & Nicholsons in Gosport, where he first came into contact with a computer 3D modeling environment using yacht hull definition software.

In 1993 an opportunity arose for Bim to produce 3d architectural models for Alan Davidson of Hayes Davidson. This proved the beginning of an extremely successful collaboration, pioneering computer generated architectural illustration and animation, and helping to establish Hayes Davidson as the leader in this field.

During the thirteen year association with Hayes Davidson, Bim has worked on many memorable projects from leading architects including Richard Rogers now Rogers Stirk and Harbour, Renzo Piano, Wilkinson EyreAllies & Morrison, Terry Farrell and Stanton Williams.

More recently, during 2006 and 2007, Bim spent seventeen months working at Heatherwick studio.

Continuing his enthusiasm for yacht design, Bim has developed the most successful racing dinghy designs of recent years in the National12 class.

Of keen technical mind but with an artistic disposition, the rigours of producing computer generated images compliment Bim’s skills perfectly.

Bim is married, with one daughter.
